Did you know that falling fruit is probably nothing to worry about? In fact, fruit thinning is a practice that your tree not only experiences naturally (a phenomenon commonly referred to as June Drop) but it’s also something we recommend you perform as annual fruit tree maintenance to ensure a healthy harvest.

Food insecurity is always top of mind at LifeCycles, and when we talk about food insecurity, we’re talking about money (or lack thereof). Access to healthy food is a basic human right and just food for all will only become possible if we address the systemic barriers preventing everyone from being able to feed themselves with dignity.

After a busy harvest season and a long, long year, we’ve decided to give ourselves a break. From December 25 through January 3, we will be out of the office (and that includes home offices, too).

Giving Tuesday 2020

While the harvest is complete, our work is not finished. There is always something to be done, especially as this year winds down and we begin preparing for 2021. In the upcoming year, we will continue to plant seeds in our community (both literally and metaphorically).
