Parking is available at 808A outside the Lifecycles Project office. The parking is shared on the weekends with the Flying Squirrel Trampoline gym, so may be quite busy. If you are unable to find parking outside the office, there is usually street parking available on Wilson Street between Dalton and Dominion Road.
Melanie Furman has been fermenting foods for the past 20 years. In 2010, she created Culturalive Fermented Foods, where she combines her love of medicinal herbs and vegetables to create alchemical, live, wild-fermented bacteria foods. She and her staff process over 500 pounds of vegetables and herbs every week to sell at over 15 stores on the coast
This workshop is in person only.
This workshop is available on a sliding scale basis. Please pay in alignment with your financial privilege to help us continue to offer tickets in this way, and support those in your community with less financial privilege to attend our workshops. There are also a limited number of by donation tickets available for this workshop, these tickets are prioritized for folks who are low income and would otherwise be unable to attend. If the ticket cost is a barrier for you, please utilize these tickets.
LifeCycles Project Society is always working to learn more about, and breakdown, barriers that may exist in accessing our programming. We understand providing sliding scale tickets is by no means an exhaustive look at systems of oppression that exist for people. We welcome your ideas and feedback as we work to continue learning.
Please contact us if you are no longer able to attend but hold a ticket so we can make your space available to someone else and work to process your refund.
You can also register for the event by calling our office at 250 383-5800 or via email by contacting [email protected]
