Why should I become a LifeCycles member?

By becoming a LifeCycles member, you align yourself with our goals and mission, and you’re helping support programs that increase food security, reduce food waste, share practical growing skills, and connect people with the land and each other. As a member, you become a voice for LifeCycles and an advocate for better food systems in our community.

Your membership makes our work possible. Membership fees go directly toward supporting LifeCycles programs and projects, including the Fruit Tree Project, Farm Gleaning Project, Victoria Seed Library, and stewardship of the Welland Community Orchard.

Membership also comes with great benefits (see below)!

What benefits do members get?

  • Free access to our Lending Library, stocked with food-processing and preservation equipment like dehydrators, apple presses, canning supplies and more! Learn more about the Lending Library here.

  • One free LifeCycles workshop per year. View the workshops we currently have scheduled on Eventbrite here. Please note that we add workshops frequently so do check back!

  • Voting rights at our Annual General Meeting —giving you a voice in the future of LifeCycles and an opportunity to help shape the organization.

  • Invitations to other events and opportunities to learn, connect and get involved.

Membership is valid for one year, beginning at date of purchase.
