Dormant Grafting Workshop

This hands-on workshop will teach you the art of dormant grafting! Early spring is a great time to make fruit tree grafts as our rootstocks contain a high reserve of sugars and no growth. As the warmer weather comes, stocks will send sugars up and healing can rapidly occur at the site of the graft. Tim will share the basic theory of propagation and the tools and techniques required to make a successful graft. We’ll have rootstock available for all participants to use and take home. By the end of this workshop you’ll be confident enough to experiment with grafting all on your own!
