LifeCycles Project x Truffles

2021 Community Fundraising Partner

We are excited to announce that there is a new way to support LifeCycles for the months of April, May and June! We are one of the 2021 Community Fundraising Partners for The Truffles Group.

This means that proceeds from Cascadia Liquor ‘Free Ice’, $1 from every pound of Coffee purchased at Truffles Catering and Habitat Cafe, 25 cents per cookie at Sequoia Coastal Coffee, and all change collected from the Victoria Butterfly Garden wishing well and coin drop will go directly towards supporting LifeCycles Project.

Truffles places incredible value on giving to their community. Last year, Truffles donated over $34,000 to support organizations. By partnering with us, Truffles puts their money where their mouth is and joins our movement to reimagine food in urban areas through projects like the Welland Community Orchard, the Victoria Seed Library, Growing Schools and the LifeCycles Fruit Tree Project.

Our goal is to create connections between our community, the food we eat, and the land it comes from by highlighting the relationships between all three.

We aim to educate community members of all ages and from all different backgrounds on the systems behind where the food on our plates comes from. We believe that this knowledge can help to empower a stronger local food movement and strengthen both human and planetary health.

We’re excited to share our story with Greater Victoria residents who may not have previously heard of LifeCycles and the work we do through this partnership with The Truffles Group. Stay tuned for updates!
