
Apple Pressing and Processing Workshop

Learn how to press apple juice, and a variety of ways to process it including water bath canning, and wild fermentation
This workshop will teach how to press and preserve apples into juice, vinegar and hard cider. Learn about and try your hand at different pressing and juicing options, from the massive to the tiny. Then learn how to preserve your juice in a variety of ways. We will go over water bath canning to make your juice shelf stable, as well as an introduction to the process of wild fermentation, where you can transform your juice into apple cider vinegar or hard cider! All participants will get to take a share of the juice pressed home with them at the end of the workshop.
