For almost a decade, LifeCycles has been cultivating a healthy local food system by connecting youth, health and community. Our mandate is to empower and connect our community, through hands-on projects that create a healthy living city. We promote greater food security through educational initiatives, the creation of organic food gardens in backyards, communities, and schools, and by harvesting and distributing fruit from backyard trees. Opportunities to learn about and participate in our food, empower us with confidence and the necessary tools to improve the quality of our own lives, our community and our environment.

Like many non-profit organizations across British Columbia, LifeCycles has been affected by reduced government funding. In response to this decrease in funding, LifeCycles has begun to explore ways of becoming less dependent on government resources.

We really need your support!
