Grow-A-Row
Grow-A-Row started off as a program of LifeCycles several years ago. Although it is no longer a funded program of our society, the idea is too good and too easy to push aside completely.
The idea behind Grow-A-Row is simple. If you have a garden in your backyard, or if you share a plot of land in a community garden somewhere in this fine city, consider planting an extra row of vegetables that you can bring to your local foodbank, shelter or soup kitchen at harvest time.
Grow-A-Row is an easy way for you to harvest and share the benefits of urban agriculture, and a great way to feel good about yourself and your community.
Thanks!
