The Growing Schools Program Team
LifeCycles' Growing Schools Program is comprised of a Program Manager, an in-classroom team and our participating partners and funders.
The Program Manager role facilitates the liaison between schools and school district facilities to support sustainable and successful garden project initiatives for approval. As liaison, the Program Manager ensures the school has all the requirements and resources to ensure a long-term successful project. This includes building support, design development, hands-on consultation, training, curriculum and manuals.
The In-Classroom team is comprised of a coordinator and 20-40 volunteer educators each season. The team is trained and highly committed to work collectively to ensure a successful workshop series delivery to each of our partner schools. The team works primarily in small break out groups with the students to offer hands-on learning inside the classroom and out in the garden.
