Business is Growing
Are you looking to start up, grow or diversify a food and farm business?
GroundWorks is expanding our food and farm business support services! Business is Growing will help people who are thinking about kick starting a food and farm business idea and will also help those already in the field to grow and diversify their business. The program will provide training, speakers, and access to resources and networking and promotion opportunities. Business is Growing is supported through the Islands AgriFood Trust, VanCity and the Island Farm Alliance.
Want to...
- Break into the retail food market?
- Move high end product to interested Chefs?
- Explore adding value to farm operations through a processing component?
Or are you considering the possibilities of Agri-tourism? Business is Growing can support you to explore your options and help you make the contacts that matter. Services will be offered in the Capital Region through LifeCycles, Cowichan region through FutureCorp and in Nanaimo through Community Futures.
Are there specific types of training, resources, or connections that would support you? We want to know so that we can build a program that works for you. To provide input or for more information please contact Linda Geggie at lgeggie@telus.net.
